The goal of this lesson is to teach novice programmers basic programming concepts. The workshop will cover data types, data structures, functions and control flow (don't worry if you don't know what these are; you will by the end of the workshop!). After attending this workshop, you will be well set to attend any beginner programming language course.
Who: The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers. You don't need to have any previous programming knowledge.
Where: Collaborative Learning Space 1, Old Arts, University of Melbourne. Get directions with Google Maps.
Requirements: **Participants must bring a laptop** that can access the internet.
